Janifer graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management from La Trobe University in Melbourne by the age of 19 and successfully attained her MBA within 9 months from The University of Western Australia. She started her career in Allianz Life Insurance and was eventually part of senior management responsible for building and transforming Allianz Life Insurance in Malaysia by growing 20 times its agency force and its business by 35 times over merely 20 years. She successfully established new agency segments, managed sales from different regions and instrumental in the design and delivery of trainings.

Janifer is the Founder and current CEO of Acorn Consulting Asia. She is also the Holding Group Agency Director at Etiqa Life Insurance after achieving her MDRT in a record time of 12-days. Prior to this, she was the Group Financial Consultant in Philip Capital Malaysia responsible for managing client’s investment portfolios.

Janifer is also a Certified Financial Planner from the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia and a firm believer in lifelong learning.
